NEW ORLEANS — The New England Patriots announced Monday that quarterback Ryan Tanbehill has signed a three-yr.
deal that includes incentives worth $2.5 million.
Tanbehilis agent, Tim Murray, announced the agreement on Twitter.
The deal comes just one day after the team signed quarterback Matt Cassel, who signed a one-year, $1.75 million contract.
Tannehill, who was traded to the Miami Dolphins on Monday, will become the team’s third quarterback to sign a one year deal in the past three seasons.
The Patriots signed Ryan Tanbirehill to a two-year contract on Dec. 8.
The contract includes incentives that are worth $3 million for the first two years, $5 million for each of the next three years and $7.5,000 for the final two years.
