Tentmakers is a volunteer organization of people who want to make a difference in ocean pollution.
The organization, which was founded in 2013 by a team of volunteers, is based in New York City and was founded by an engineering student, James Stavro, and an oceanographer named Mike Siegel.
The mission is to raise awareness of the issue of ocean pollution and to promote the development of solutions.
Tentmakers started as a way to help ocean cleanup and recovery efforts, but as the organization grew it expanded to include environmental education, sustainability, and sustainable communities.
Today, the organization works to bring people together around this common cause, to educate and inspire them on what they can do to help protect our oceans, and to create a more sustainable future for all.
The Tentmakers community of volunteers are working to change how we view ocean pollution through education, and they’ve created a series of educational webinars on the topic.
You can learn more about them here.
The group hosts these videos at the Tentmakers website and in its Facebook group, and each is worth a listen.
The videos cover a variety of topics, from the basics like how to use a tent, to how to prepare to clean up your backyard.
Some of the best information is in the first one, which deals with how to clean out your yard, so you can learn about the basics of how to dispose of plastic bags and other waste.
Tentmaker’s website offers some of the more specific information about what to do if you find yourself in a toxic environment.
Another one focuses on what to consider when choosing a tent for cleanup, and it is particularly useful for people who work in the construction industry, because it gives detailed information on how to choose a tent that is appropriate for your situation.
Tentmaker’s videos are not a comprehensive guide to all things related to ocean cleanup, but they are a great place to start.
